Hi,
If you are running gnome, then you can add compiz to the session by running gnome-session-properties and creating a new entry with "compiz --replace"
Goodluck!

All you need to do is create a launcher with the above command in it and move it to ~/.kde/Autostart and remember to make it executable in the prooperties dialogue.
~ represents your home directory and the dot in front of kde means it's a hidden directory.

Right click on it open properties and give it execute permission
or from the command line
chmod +x theFilename

What is not working??
I'm confused on exactly what you are trying to run.
Does what you need to run require root access??

Sorry, basically i installed compiz fusion and it is running fine. the only thing is to make it run i have to open the start menu go to start/system/more programs/compiz fusion icon to start the program so i can get the emerald theme and wobbly windows and such. i want it to start automatically when i start suse. ive tried the above methods (probably did something wrong) and rebooted a few times but it does not start.

Try this then
Drag the menu item to the desktop try it from there it should work
If this works then drag that icon to the .kde/AutoStart folder
again try it there
if all is working then the icon code should be run on startup
