Hard drive failure?
Hi, I have a Linux machine with SuSE as an academic researcher. After a few days away from my machine, my monitor appeared to receive no signal from my computer. Then upon rebooting, I got the following error:
Integrated RAID exception detected
Volume 00:000 is currently in state FAILED
I'm assuming that this denotes a hard drive failure. Is that correct? If so, does anyone have any good recommendations for a data recovery firm? Thanks so much.

Hi Buddy,
Sorry, anyway, i was wondering do u think its a hdd failure physically or its just a software issue?
Is that a secondary hdd or u have only one in there?
Can u detect you hdd in Bios?
Pliz find out that then will will know where to start, otherwise if u can detect your hdd, the first try a livecd to confirm that its the really hardware.
All the best
Cheers
Robin
