    32 bit or 64 bit

    Hi all,

    I have a 32bit application which i want to run on a 64 bit hardware, so which OS i will choose, 32 bit or 64 bit OS.

    Can anyone suggest any link where i will got information (Performance analysis of above case) on this topic.

    It will run in either, unless the app requires huge amounts of memory or is written for 64 bit optimization (a 32 bit app would not) there would not be any noticeable speed difference. If this 32 bit app is the only thing the machine will run then go 32 bit. If this is primarily a desktop computer 32 bit will be less trouble then 64 for proprietary things like Skype.
