    no hard disks fond on your system...

    Each distribution of linux may or may not have different filesystems. Some distributions have reiserfs, some ext2 or ext2fs some older systems devfs. More than likely SuSE has found an alien filesystem it is not compatible with. You may have to format your hard disk to install.

    i doubt it. I have two satas on my pc.
    one with windows xp(ntfs) the other with mandriva.

    It fails to recognize both of them. i think it needs some king of driver.
    Like when you install Windows xp, you have to press F6 in order to add scasi raid driver.
