    ACER aspire 4520 laptop help

    hi guys i have installed suse 10.2 in my laptop acer aspire 4520
    the os cannot find my sound device neither can it connect to network ethernet and 3D acceleration is disabled. plz help me to fix these.

    config:
    nvidia nforce network card
    nvidia geforce 7000M graphix card
    realtek high definition audio.

    what is you sound card, post here the output of lspci -v to see also the network device

    for nvidia, did you install the driver for it ?

    Lakshmipathi ... my processor is AMD64 athlon x2 1.8Gz, the line you added in the /etc/modprobe.conf file:
    options snd-hda-intel model=acer, mine is amd.
    what to do?
    my sound card is realtek HD audio
