    Software Installation

    I am totally new at working with Linux Suse....or any Linux for that matter.I have decided to step away from Microsoft but am clueless to working with Linux.I have managed to install Suse 10.3 on my pc but thats about it....having difficulty installing anything else for i am unfamiliar with this OS.If anyone can assist me in a link of a website or any information for that matter it would be much appreciated.

    If you really want to learn Linux ... just keep at it. The more time you spend "playing" with it the more profecient you'll become.

    As for Linux vs MS, if you were good with MS, odds are you'll really enjoy your computer that much more since you "upgraded" to Linux, and Suse as experience is showing me, is really a rather good rendition of Linux.
