    Suse 10.3 anti-aliasing

Hey guys, i'm having a little trouble here and i'm hoping you all could help me out. I recently installed suse 10.3 and i soon hope to make a permanent transition from windows xp but i can't do that until i can get my fav game (il2 sturmovik) running as good as it does on windows. I already installed wine, ati drivers, and the game starts up and runs perfect. The only problem is i can't get anti-aliasing to work. I've tried the command aticonfig --fsaa=on and i also used to command to set aa to 6x but that didn't change a thing within the game. Also, for some reason when i use the gui ati control panel i can't move the anti-aliasing and anistropic filtering sliders at all. The only thing i can adjust there is the 'wait for vertical refresh' modes. What gives?

c'mon guys. no one has any idea what the problem may be? i've tried other versions of the ati driver and either they don't support 3d rendering at all or fps is too low. The only driver that seems to work for me is 8.43.3-01
