I have a short newbie question, and as stupid as it may seem please don't shoot me. I'm still new to linux and i was wondering why i can't see the minimised running applications when i do a remote connection from my windows laptop to the suse pc.

I use vnc and then i login as root but in the toolbar i can't see the application that' running. I thought remote connection allows full control without being there.

So what do i do wrong?
