I have a Palm LifeDrive and I would like to access the internal hard drive using Palms built in Drive Mode. Palm claims that this feature works just like any common external drive or flash drive. This is true with my WinXP box, however, it is not recognized by my Linux system. The Palm has PalmOS Garnet 5.4.8 and the Dell D610 laptop is running SuSE 10.2 with KDE 3.5.5.

I have tried adding entries to the fstab file to no avail. I can manually mount the LifeDrive, but only from root user and then I'm not able to transfer files as freely as I would like to. There's got to be an easier way.

Any help?
