I have tried to install gcc through Yast and ran into some problems. It told me the files on my cd were borken(or something like that). And in the end didnt install was wondering if there was another way to install it. OpenSuse 10.3

Hey man,
I may be shooting way under your knowledge level but - I'll pull a Dell 1st level tech support and ask if the system is plugged in
You might want to add repositories to your repoisitory list.
IE: no more Cd's
Third party list - Additional YaST Package Repositories - openSUSE
Official list - Package Repositories - openSUSE
Not sure how to add a repository ?
Add Package Repositories to YaST - openSUSE
Please note I posted earlier and found out some repositories were down and may not be back up yet.
