    package capable of making avi from images?

    Dear SuSE experts:

    I am wondering whether there is any open source package that can build avi video files from a sequence of jpg images. Imagemagick can make animated gif file, but, it is not clear to me whether it can produce avi.

    Your suggestion will be highly appreciated.
