how to keep grub when re-installing Win XP?

    Hi,

I have a dual boot system (2 hard drives). C drive has Win Xp 32 bit. I would like to replace Win XP 32 bit with Win XP 64 bit. This will be a brand new install, meaning, Win Xp 32 will be wiped out. I would like to keep grub so that I can still dual boot Win XP 64 with SUSE 10.2 64 bit. Before I start, can someone tell me is there anything special steps I need to do so that I will not end up with only Win XP 64 (cannot access SUSE)? Thanks!

I think after you install windows xp you put your suse linux disk in and reboot then do a upgrade I think it will find your installation of linux and reinstall your grub.

I think thats what you have to do.

Are both OSes on single Hard Disk? If yes then you will have to re-install GRUB. It pretty easy to do that.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
