    Netscape 9.0 no plugin's?

    Hey everyone.

I've installed the new netscape for Linux, I had been using Fire fox.
Firefox was good but online content ( gamefaqs/gamespot game trailers are very choppy)
I thought I'd try a different browser. video card is an ATi radeon 8500 128 mb
but I don't bleive the card is hold ing up the streaming video.

I used the one click install from Suse's site for the install of Netscape.
Which worked great, but netscape doesn't recognize any of the plugin's
PDF Viewer, Flash 9, mplayer, nothing?

I haven't removed Fire fox yet. I want to, but I'd like to get all the plugin's running.

any idea how I can get Netscape to see them?

    Thanks

Your best bet is to stick to Firefox. Netscape 9.0 is based on Firefox 2.0, and in addition, Netscape is also ending support for all their clients on Feb 1, so maybe that's a hint at something happening to Netscape. Mozilla is the way to go, either Firefox or Seamonkey. The way Netscape did work was they pretty much just took Mozilla code and put their name on it. All the updates are for Mozilla products, and even though Netscape is based on an (older) version of Mozilla, there's no gaurantee Netscape will be able to update as well.
