    snmpd.conf setup questions

I mainly have the following question:

What's the difference between trapsink and trap2sink? Don't they serve the same purpose? when configuring net-snmp I've read in a couple of places I need both, depending on what services are using snmp trap and what format they are sending the traps. Is this true? Is there something in this definition that I do not understand?

    Thanks in advance,
    D

This looks like a good explanation

    3 - C H A P T E R -

scroll down a bit to see it.

It looks like there is two levels of trapping.

Thank you. Exactly what I thought and explains things much better for me. Thanks!
