    Right click icon-start smart

Add the repositories. Note most community repo's are allready there and activated. stay away from any cutting edge stuff, it is only for experts. You could ruin your OS.

    Do you have

    1) Smart installed?
    2) KSmartTray Installed?

It is the KSmartTray icon you right click to start smart. KSmartTray is just an Applet which is a notification front end for Smart. Smart is where you configure things.

    sigh
