    Boot problems

I upgraded from personal to professional, and now my computer will not boot.

All it says is "GRUB loading Stage 2..."

Once it says that, it just sits there.

    Any suggestions?

I have already used the first cd in "repair" mode. This included some work on GRUB.

did you modify the grub.conf to acknowlege the upgrade (if you updated the kernel)

    fixed

I didn't have much on the computer, so I did a fresh install. That fixed the problem. Obviously, if I had much on the computer, I would not have done this.

in case you had data you'd like to keep i think it's safe to do a boot from cd ,or use the system restore that comes up with suse.don't forget that if you don't make something wrong you don't learn!
