    sound error question

    i got this error.

    audiotestsrc wave=sine freq=512 ! audioconvert ! audioresample ! gconfaudiosink profile=chat: no element "audiotestsrc"

    and i noticed that every few hours my audio ****s up and i have to either log out or restart my computer to fix it to start playing again...

    EDIT:

    Now my audio doesnt work at all even after a fresh reboot...

    suggestion to troubleshoot

    Assume your audio hardware is ok, to get your sound working again, you could try working your way through this audio-troubleshooting guide for openSUSE:
