    Red face conecting to internet

    Hi I've got my Suse 10.2 machine to connect to my xp laptop peer to peer...they're on the same workgroup but I just can't get my linux pc to connect to the internet...

    Can you please provide a bit more detail about how you are trying to connect to the internet using the SUSE machine.

    my laptop connects to my network via wireless and my suse machine is connected to the laptop over a bridged ethernet connection. on the suse machine i can ping my gateway and everything else on the network but when i open firefox i can't connect to any site...hope this is enough info....

    Can you ping sites outside your network e.g. google.com?
