Is there a particular reason you're looking for SuSE 9.2 and not something newer?

I did some looking around and couldn't find any downloads available for suse 9.2 except some really old torrents that probably no longer work. Not sure, but you might be able to find a copy of it on eBay.
If your system is working properly right now, you should probably make images of your current partitions so that if anything should happen, you can at least restore the images to get right back to where you are now. Look here for some cloning/imaging options that might work for you:

You can create a Bootable Image of Server using PartImage or Ghost4Linux.
Create an Image and burn it to CD/DVD. Install it on other machine having similar specs. It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

One way to find 9.2 is to check every Suse mirror.
SUSE Linux Professional: ftp.suse.com: International Mirrors
You may not find the iso image. Suse used to be available only through a net install. If you look under the install folder, you may find it.
I did a quick look and found something here:
ftp://suse.cs.utah.edu/pub/suse.com/...tall/9.2/suse/
I don't know if this is an installable folder.Paul

I was checking the Suse mirrors, and finally found one that still has 9.2:
ftp://ftp.novell.hu/pub/mirrors/ftp.suse.com/suse/
It has what appears to be complete 9.2 directories in both the /i386 and /install folders. I found this link in the /i386/9.2/iso folder:
ftp://ftp.novell.hu/pub/mirrors/ftp.....2-FTP-DVD.iso
I am trying it, and it appears to be downloading.Paul

susek, if it were me, and I were running a suse 9.2 server and wanted to stick with that, I'd want a copy of the original Suse installation CDs, and the system image backups we've been talking about. The system images will restore much faster than a fresh install will happen for you, but it's obviously nice to have the original installation CDs on hand, too. It would be wise in my opinion to consider obtaining both.
