nVidia installation failed
Using OpenSuse 10.3, and trying to get drivers for my Leadtek Winfast GeForce 6800. I followed this link that I found on these forums. Went through the steps to install, and got to "Please wait while this software is being installed." 20 minutes later, still on that same thing. Abort and the close button do nothing...
What I've tried before I found that link is downloading the drivers from nVidia directly. I got the following error when trying to complete the install:
Help getting it installed either way would be much appreciated.Code:ERROR: The kernel header file '/lib/modules/2.6.22.5-31-default/build/include/linux/kernel.h' does not exist. The most likely reason for this is that the kernel source path '/lib/modules/2.6.22.5-31-default/build' is incorrect. Please make sure you have installed the kernel source files for your kernel and that they are properly configured; on Red Hat Linux systems, for example, be sure you have the 'kernel-source' or 'kernel-devel' RPM installed. If you know the correct kernel source files are installed, you may specify the kernel source path with the '--kernel-source-path' command line option.

In Yast-software-Software Admin.
search for kernel-source and install
search for gcc and install
You need these two package before you can link the driver to the kernel
