    I've done tht twice now and I couldn't find a way round it other than to reinstall. There may be a way and I'd be interested to know how.
    What I did discover though is that you have to load the new kernel with the updater, which gives you 4 or 5 delta patches and if you use all of the patches the update goes ok.

    My new kernel works there is just a problem it requires gcc4.3 and i don't know where to get it
