    Exclamation After Booting in suse10.3 my desktop goes black

    If i try to boot my system (suse 10.3), after booting process my monitor goes black and no response after tat. But after 2 or 3 restarts it works fine. What is the problem. can anyone help me to fix tat

    Maybe a display issue? It's kind of weird that it doesn't boot into the login screen. Try going to a terminal next time it doesn't work (when it just hangs, hit alt+f2 or something to that effect to bring up a command line interface), login, and type sax2.

    I'd start there.
