    Changing splash screen

    I downloaded a splash file from KDE-Looks, however, when I try to change my splash screen the Configure Desktop program does not identify the included files as splash files. I unzipped them and saved to my directory. The files are all .png files, is there a way to change them so that the Configure program will "see" them?

    try using the zipped file control centre appearance and themes add theme select the zipped file
