    Hi !

Boot up from SuSe installation CD/DVD and select Installation. Select Upgrade/Update in next options list. Click next, next, next.... Installer will re-install GRUB.

Boot up SUSe and mount Fedora Partition. Copy first title block ( title, root, kernel and initrd lines ) from Fedora's grub.conf file and paste in SuSe's menu.lst file.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

I personally would boot into rescue mode using the openSUSE dvd or first installation disc and reinstall grub from there. This article explains how to do this in great detail. Before doing that save your Fedora /boot/grub/menu.lst to a usb stick (or just make a note of the entries) and then when you boot into openSUSE copy the entries to openSUSEs /boot/grub/menu.lst.

Thanx for your replies the first method i got a problem with dependencies all the new apps that i installed were gonna be deleted second method i did go into rescue mode but didnt know the commands . But i managed to fix it i booted from opensuse disc instead of update i went to other options then booted into opensuse i then installed grub from yast bootloader i selected the option merge with other grub menus and it detected my fedora added it to the list and my grub was restored never thought i'd be so happy to see that green page Thanx guys
