Folks
I'm going to build a Linux Box and my plan is to use SUSE 10.3 on it. My question is I have heard many storries about SATA DVD drives not working right. Am I better off getting a IDE DVD drive and using the sATA channels for disk. If anyone has any recent DVD drive they recommend I'd appreciate it greatly.
My current plan is to keep it cheap, it's not a gaming machine I Intend to run Dansguardian and use it primarily as a filter proxy server.
