    new suse 10.3 user, cant use anything i install!

    ive tried downloading bittorrent from the software downloader and off the internet, it goes thru the process of installing, and yet i cant find it anywhere on the computer (even searched) and my files cant be opened as bittorrent.

    what am i doing wrong?

    Hi and Welcome !

    Which Desktop Environment are you using? Have you installed bittorrent-gui? Look for it in Yast Software Manager.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    Without knowing exactly what you installed its difficult to give you accurate instructions on how to execute the programs. If you are using KDE, I suggest you take a look at Ktorrent and if using GNOME, take a look at Deulge and Azureus. These are all GUI apps which show up in the menu under the internet/network section.
