can't download suse 10.3
I have tried twice to download opensuse 10.3 from Novell, but each time, when I go to install it tells me the file is corrupt (you know, when it checks the DVD). Am I going insane or are other people having problems with this download from Novel? Help! I really want this software!

How big is the full download, and what filesystem are you storing it to before burning it to disk?
Did you run the md5 checksum test on it?
Check this thread to make sure you are properly downloading the file and burning it as an image to the disk.oz

Hi! I am downloading a file called openSUSE-10.3-GM-DVD-i386 as an ISO file and burning it to disk with software called DVD Decrypter. When DVD Decrypter does a check on the file after burning it says its corrupt. So the problem is before I attempt to install the program. I don't normally have these problems. I think I'm doing everything right! Any help greatfully appreciated!

Are you burning as an ISO. You can't burn it as a file.

Absolutely! I do understand all that. I thought there might have been a problem with the download so I downloaded it again, and still had problems. I was wondering if anyone else has problems downloading the file for suse 10.3. There is a slight chance that DVD Decrypter is screwing up. Anyone know of a better (free) tool to use for buirning ISO's? Thanks for your comment.
