    Accessing pureftpd server

    I am running Pure-ftpd on Suse Linux Enterprise Server 10. I have set up some virtual users but cannot access the ftp server.

    This is what I get:

    (username) test1
    331 User test1 OK. Password required
    Password:
    530 Authentication failed, sorry
    Login failed.

    I run pure-pw show test1 and receive this:

    OK I just found out that it seems local system users are able to log in. So it seems it has something to do with virtual users. Still not sure why virtual users cannot log in.
