Problem with my wireless network connection
hey ppl,
i'm new with Linux. I've just installed OpenSUSE 10.3, on my Sony Vaio (VGN-FZ140E). I'm using "Intel PRO/Wireless 4965 AG network card".
I'm detecting a good signal from my local wireless network provider but everytime i try to connect, the connection fails. and i don't have a clue y????????
plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, help me in that coz i really need my wireless connection to work.
If anybody needs more information, i'll b glad to provide it!!!!!!!!!

Here's a link to the web site for the driver for the IPW4965:
iwl4965 - Linux Wireless
A quick scan of that site shows that you need firmware loaded to get it to work. If you have an older kernel, the driver module may be different (ipw4965?). Check to see if either of those modules are loaded.
