    Talking Nvidia Driver Suse 10.3

    Help some one! LoL!
Ive got 10.3 installed its working fine its a bit slow but im blaming that on the fact i dont have 3d support from my nvidia 6200 oc card..
I tried adding the repositories under the software management but when i do it pops up saying hey .. you need such and such installed.. every time .. is there a place to download the driver and manually install it ? if some one could help that would be great. also
im using a old P3 500 MHz 768mb of ram.. is this enough to even run 10.3 efficiently. i was able to run 10.2 with no problem. and had XGL Running on it. i would really like to get the 3d support on 10.3 tho please some one help !

Is there a reason not to install it with the 1-Click Install?

You can use the one click install as suggested above or you can setup the nvidia repository via YAST -> Software -> Community Repostories and then install the appropriate driver using YAST -> Software -> Software Management.

Go to NVIDIA and download the driver for your card/chipset. Use what is called the hard method as described in the instructions on the NVIDIA site. You will also need to install both the kernel-source and gcc via Yast.

Did you run this part of the instructions

    sax2 -r -m 0=nvidia (0 is a digit, not a letter!)

Also look in to you /etc/X11/xorg.conf file. See if the driver is set to "nvidia"
