Hi Everyone

I have another issue with a different installation.

We have installed RT ticket system (from bestpractice.com) and after a bit of a struggle managed to get the installation and databases installed and set up.

However we now need to get the web interface working.


We followed the instructions on a website and added some text to the http.conf file. However, when we try to start/ restart the service we get the following error:

Starting httpd [ PHP4 ]



Syntax error on line 1604 of /etc/httpd/httpd.conf:

Cannot load /usr/lib/apache2/mod_fastcgi.so into server: /usr/lib/apache2/mod_fastcgi.so: undefined symbol: unixd_config failed



... Someone suggested that we need to install fastcgi as it was not installed, which we then did (a previous version was infact installed as we discovered later) but we still get this error.


Any assistance will be appreciated.
