    Suse 9: hyperterminal

    Hi people

    Does anyone know of software for Linux i can download thats the same as the hyperterminal is for Windows? Im trying to use a Axis device server 83.

    forgive my ignorace, but what exactly does hyper terminal do, many of us haven't used an M$ system in a while. But if your looking for a remote acess client, linux should already have proticols for telnet, ssh, and the rdn or whatever that one is (sorry, i only use ssh) if its just a dailing based remote access client, then there are plenty of those too, but i havent used anything phoneline based in forever. Hopfuly someone else knows of one.

    Well, i use it to setup a connection to a device using a serial cable. I dont know if its used for other purposes as well. Thx for your advise, ill look into it.
