    10.2 installs, 10.3 will not

I am setting up a new 'utility' system - 10.2 installed with no problem. I decided to install 10.3 but it does not seem to recognize my partitions. I can install anyway but on the first reboot leading to the config stage, it fails to find the partitions. It also fails to allow me to upgrade 10.2 to 10.3.

In order for us to help you better, please give some more detailed information about your computer such as processor, amount of RAM, harddrive types (IDE/SATA/SCSI) and capacities, video device, and anything else you think might be useful.

    I have the same problem with my p/c. For some reason 10.3 does not read my partition table correctly - AMD 64 x 2 4200 Gigabyte GA-K8N-SLI (nForce 4SLI) 512 x 2 PC3200 CL3 184 2 x sata drives.

Like you I tried a fresh install and also the upgrade route. Also tried manually setting the drive order when installing. All without success so I gave up and went back to 10.2 in the end.
