Problems with nvidia drivers and suse 10.3

I am trying to instal nvidia drivers for FX 5500 in suse 10.3 with yast.

When I try to install the driver yast reports something like 20 errors listed at the endo of this message.

I have tried to force yast into ignoring the errors and to install the driver regardles but then suse would not boot into x, just text mode.

    What should I do?

    Thanks

I'd suggest you try installing all those missing dependencies via yast and then try the nvidia drivers again

Incidentally, my GeForce 7300 GT won't install properly on 10.3 either, though it installs fine on 10.2

On 10.3 I don't get the nvidia splash screen nor canI change desktop resolution, but it isn't problematic in any way besides that
