internet on openSuse 10.3
I am a little new to Linux, because most of my experience came through virtual machines. The problem that I'm having is my old pentium 3 computer, which I replaced Windows 2000 with openSuse 10.3, does not have internet access. I got ndiswrapper and installed the windows drivers that came on the windows install disc, as well as configured it to work. However, I'm still not getting internet access. My computer boots with ndiswrapper automatically started but the network wizard says I'm connected to eth0, not wlan0. I type in iwconfig and my wireless card is detecting my network, but it claims the encryption key is invalid. My linksys router uses a WEP password. The setting that the key was at is passphrase. What can I do to fix this?

Get the newest drivers for your wireless card if they are from the win 2000 disk odds are there are new ones out and ndiswrapper seems to be written for newer drivers in my experience.
Also what network manager are you using?

Well, I tried gtkwifi, which detects all networks available, but it does not let me get on the internet with Firefox or ping sites like Yahoo! and Google (although it allows me to type in the WEP password). Although my computer was formerly a Windows 2000 PC, I installed the XP drivers on that disc, like some people suggested. I might need to look at the chipset again though, so I can see if there are drivers newer than the XP ones. Other than gtkwifi, everything dealing with networks is pretty much the default that comes with the gnome environment in openSuSe.
