Question unable to boot into Suse ...

    Hi all,
In the morning we had a power failure ,now i tried to restart SUSE linux,
I started well then it displays the following and hangs.

    Code:
    hda: lost interrupt
    hda: lost interrupt
    hda: lost interrupt

    // displays something   here

    /dev/sda3 : device not found.
    tty not found;exit to /bin/sh
    $
Now my keyboard is not detected and so it's not working.

Any idea what's the problem ?
Problem lies with Harddisk or in softwares?
    How to fix this issue?

Have you installed any update recently? Append kernel line with noapic and check if it works.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

When i tried to login to " compaq diagonistic "
    I received mesg like this , "

Session Manager initialize system process terminated unexpectedly with status of
    0xC000003a
    The system has been shutdown.

I'd open up the case again and make sure all the connectors inside the computer are securely tightened down and seated properly. You may have slightly bumped an IDE cable or something.

are you sure the RAM is replaced correctly ... have you tried RAM check during boot ... you can normally enable this in BIOS. Can you run memtest?
