    Samba Shares

    Probably a simple question but here goes

    I have a simple network of one linux box and one windows box via a cross over cable. My problem is that both boxes also appear on my wireless network in the workgroup. I know how to password protect the windows box but can any body help how to require password access to the linux box (suse 10.3).

    Redbook, that would be obscure unless you have installed the Samba configuration GUI called SWAT which is not installed by default.
