connecting internet

can't able to connect to internet .I have suse 10.2.i am using lg lsp 350t phone having tata indicom connection.

Are you using bluetooth or cable . If cable you can use wvdial or kppp too connect kppp if you using kde you can install both from yast . Another thing if you have cable while phone is connected to pc go to yast hardware modems and see if your phone is detected as a modem

i am using usb cable .it is detected.but i couldn't able to configure .i am new to linux plz let me steps .so that i can connect to internet

use wvdial as root while phone is connected type wvdialconf after its completed as root if u are using gnome use gedit if you are using kde use kwrite /etc/wvdial.conf now remove the ; symbols put your dial up number for username pass word if you dont have any put this ' '
save close then in terminal type wvdial should connect good luck
