I just started to use linux.My problem is like this:
Yast2->Hardware->Hardware Information
Then when the process ran to 5%,it stopped there.
Is there something wrong with it?Or maybe I ...

Cannot open "hardware information" in suse 10.3
Hi,
I just started to use linux.My problem is like this:
Yast2->Hardware->Hardware Information
Then when the process ran to 5%,it stopped there.
Is there something wrong with it?Or maybe I have to wait a very long time to see the hardware information?

I don`t Know what could be the problem!!!
At me works fine and i dont have to wait more. I think maybe you have some problem with a hardware...it could be the hard drive...

I've just run on a reasonable? spec laptop and it took a couple of minutes total ... it seems to stop at a couple of points for less than a minute. If there is no progress after a couple of minutes you could have an issue. I think it ran quite slow on lower spec machines. May be worth running df -h in a terminal just to check your not out of disk space.
