Hard disk unrecognized while installing SuSE Linux 9.1

    Hello,

I bought a new Dell Dimension 8400 recently (Pentium 4 3 Ghz, 1 Gb RAM, 80 GB S ATA hard disk drive). I was trying to Install SuSE 9.1 Pro on it. But in the begining of the installation process it fails to recognize the hard disk. I have also installed Win XP on the same machine (but have left a partitioned space for Linux).

Can anybody help me out of this problem ?

    Thanks,
    Anurag

ATA drives might require an extra module of some sort.... unfortunetly, i don't know whitch, but look at the install docs for suse might have a list of modules.
