You should be able to install it using YAST. Check this HowTo for the steps:

Enlightenment - installing other Distros
Hi I am 23dornot23d,
I just thought I would add a post about Enlightenment,
The latest I have found and easiest way to install it since the main repository went, is to use this script.
( omicron ) » projects
If you have problems with Emphasis - just edit it out of the list at the top of the script.
To run it download it then
> chmod u+x easy_e17.sh
> ./easy_e17.sh
Gnome Enlightenment OS
Home Page GOS - gOS - Discover a good OS.
Or if you want the live CD - its here for download Gnome version GOS - 536 MB

Reply to Enlightenment problem with Yast .....
Hi -
I saw this and thought maybe this was the problem, with 10.3 and Yast
check it out .......
Help with Enlightenment on openSUSE 10.3 - LinuxQuestions.org
Ok the script will do everything configure, make, make install - it does run ok , but there may be a problem ...... it boots up and runs enlightenment but gives errors on starting ...... once in everything works ...... except for ibar and ibox,
I have two versions of it running on my system - one is fine the other is not ...... it may just be that its getting mixed up with the configuration files on mine - let us know how you get on ......
Here is my modified script edited and pointing to the sourceforge files -
keithaerospace92 - Linux - E17
If I find anything else out I will add it to this page above - bye4now
Best of luck .....Last edited by 23dornot23d; 03-30-2008 at 07:37 AM. Reason: added another link

23dornot23d merci beaucoup for your help!!
I am giving it a try when I have some time... Heres what happened:
The first script works fine until the second phase ( installation ) starts and after a while it gices this error:
configure: error: "Cannot find jpeglib.h. Make sure your CFLAGS environment variable contains include lines for the location of this file"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-> Get more informations by checking the log file '/tmp/easy_e17/install_logs/eet.log'!
And I tried your second script but it fails to connect to the server!!
I will come back to it !!
eventually it will work!
Au revoir!

ok
Just go to Yast > software Management > search for "fortran"
Tell it to install gcc42-fortran & gcc-fortran; this should take care of it ....
If not post me your error.log and I will have a closer look at it.
Merci , hope you found something useful on my site ......
Best of luck ........

It looks like its looking for python headers ..... might check to see which you have installed
install looks for python 2.4 and below. openSUSE 10.3 has python 2.5.x.
I am not sure but you could try yast and install python 2.4 .......
I am running Elive from a installation of version 0.6.9 now - this installed without any problems on a new partition ..... this may be a solution if you have no success with the above. ( it is still in development as they point out when it boots up but the majority of things I use work well - blender - Gimp - wings3d - and a brilliant built in dvd movie player .......
Sorry its not much ..... but I am running Mandriva and Elive just recently .....
( Mandriva for the eye candy - got compiz working on my 3000 + with Nvidia 6200 )
Hope you have some success .... it could just be the version of python .....
