    [SOLVED] domain authentication opensuse 10.3

    Hi everybody,

I have edited /etc/krb5.conf for joining my linux machine in windows domain (windows 2003 ADDS). After that while loging in it is showing a dropdown for domain but not showing domain name in it. Only showing <local> there. I can only login to the local machine. I cannot login to domain from this machine.

What are the other settings required? Any help?

You will also need to configure SAMBA and WINBind. There are quite a few googleable articles out there but here is one that helped me.

It is for 9.1 but the information pretty much applies:

    Authenticating Linux against Active Directory
