    The gimp


    i have one problem with the gimp.
    when i press on one of tools (e.g. eraser), in the bottom of the program window opened tool's menu. but i don't know why but i closed it. now when i select tools, i just select it. nothing opens.
    how i can restore what "tool's menu" ?

    I don't understand your question.

    The easiest way would be to delete all your default preferences ie: deleteing ~/.gimp-2.0

    Close gimp, delete the dir, and restart gimp.

    that seems a bit radical, i think the designers of gimp would have included a better way to restore windows, look in the 'tools' bar and either a 'window' or 'view' one...

    designers of gimp would have included a better way to restore windows, look in the 'tools' bar and either a 'window' or 'view' one...
    qub333 is right,such an excellent program should not have such problems...

    i think i do, he closed one of his widows and cant open it back up (like one of his toolboxes)

    i deleted gimp's folder in home directory and everything is OK. thank you.
