    Auto-CHMODING?

Right, so I downloaded KeiosBB (A Flat File BB system, kinda like Text-FileBB) and I was wondering if I could CHMOD them in linux, well, I went into the file properties, but I wanna know....Am I just seing stuff, or is it actually letting me CHMOD them?

Windows Never seemed to have that option for me!

Just curious if its the same thing though, aside from keiosBB, i've only CHMODed a MyBB via tutorial, with FileZilla.

So, you're asking if you can change permissions to files within the SUSE gui? Yes, you can. I usually change permissions via command line, though. Or via WinSCP if I'm managing the box remotely.

Why the flat file? You can easily run a forum using Apache, MySQL and PHP. I'm a fan of phpBB myself.
    I praise Webmin and PuTTy!
