Hi guys.

I have just installed Suse on my laptop, and it failed. The splash screen show perfectly, and the progress bar is also doing what it is surpose to do. But when I go into the actual GUI of Suse, all graphic is lying on the first ten pixel lines on the top op the screen. Plus it flickers. I can see some icons, and my mouse.

Either my initial screen setup is wrong, or I have set a size of the screen it can’t run, or my drivers are not working correctly.

I can however start it up in failsafe mode with no problems.

My Graphic card is a “ATI MOBILITY FireGL V5000”

Does anyone have some suggestions to a solution?
