    Reinstalling GRUB

    I had openSuse 10.2 and vista on my laptop. But due to some reason I formatted and reinstalled vista. Now GRUB loader was overwritten by vista loader . How to recover the grub loader so that i can boot into suse or windows as per my choice??

    Boot up from SuSe installation CD/DVD and select Installation option. Select update/upgrade option in next list. Press next, next and next... Installer will re-install GRUB.

    In case it doesn't work, boot up from SuperGRUB CD and select 'Fix Linux Boot Loader (GRUB)' option.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
