    Hi,

Download and use the utility called garNome 2.22 which enables you to download the Gnome 2.22 desktop environment. This package will automatically downloads and installs all the required packages (dependencies has to be solved by you). I tried, but there were a lot of dependencies and had to quit. I wish you all the best.

    Kurian.

add this repositry to yast or Smart Package Manager (look it up- it's pretty good)
Additional YaST Package Repositories - openSUSE

interesting that you're keen to load a package described as "unstable" the "easy way"

Thank for the reply!I have put all the rep from there and then
    Code:
    zypper update
    but no luck!
I think it can not be installed! I`ll have to wait to opensuse 11! Anyway if you have any ideas that will be good!

Did you go into Yast and mark it to be installed?? I would not think that update would work here since this is a new Package.

No the Software management does not do automatic updates.

There is a selection Yast- Automatic Updates that allows you to configure them if you want.

I doubt it. You are not updating you are installing a whole new package.

Why do you need this new Beta Desktop? You will find that Suse is in most cases not cutting edge. It goes for stability rather then flash.
