    I need a older version of Suse around 8.0 but I don't know of anyplace I can get it. Help?

    8.0 was released five years ago, it is out of support and would have poor hardware support by today's standards. Is there a specific reason to run it? I would say it would be very difficult to come by.

    I would still not recommend installing an older version of an operating system. Just because a computer has older hardware doesn't mean a newer OS won't work on it (or work better than its older counterpart). You can't run modern openSuSE on that machine, but you can run a modern version of another Linux distribution such as Vector Linux, DSL Linux, Puppy Linux, or Zenwalk.
