Hi kaushik12! First of all you need the Packman Repository to add in yast and then search for the package in Software Management! Ok i will show you how to do it step by step!

    1) Add the Packman Repository from here:
Additional YaST Package Repositories - openSUSE
for opensuse 10.2 and were is an example how to add repositories in yast
openSUSE 10.2: List of Recommended Repositories for Yast « Linux and Open Source Blog

2)Yast-->Software Managment and search there for the package wxWidgets 2.8.7 and wxWidgets 2.8.7 devel. Install both of them.

If you have any question ask!
    Cheers!

What is the specific error message? No doubt it was more specific than "unable".

The easiest way to install wxwidgets would be through one-click install. Go here and search for wxwidgets. The first result is for wxwidgets 2.8.7.1. This is all assuming you are using openSUSE 10.3 as I only did the search for openSUSE 10.3.
