    preview audio

    there is this feature in pclinuxos 2007 kde if you put your mouse on a icon for an mp3 file the song automatically plays and as long as the mouse pointer is there the song will play if you move the mouse to another mp3 file it plays not through amarok or anything its like a kind of preview i was wondering how can i do this with opensuse 10.3 kde thanx

    My guess it is using mplayer.

    Well it is kmplayer i installed it but can't seem too get it too work

    I used this function a few years ago in KDE. I run Gnome now so I can't check but the same functionality is in Gnome and configured through Nautilus. I would imagine it is set up through Konqueror, try looking in its settings for 'previews'.
